The Outset/Frieze Art Fair Fund to benefit the Tate Collection (OFT) was a strategic partnership between Outset Contemporary Art Fund, Frieze Art Fair and Tate to buy important works of art by emerging artists at the fair for the National Collection. Each year OFT invited two to three international curators to work with the Tate curatorial team as part of the selection panel for the Fund and to complement the collection strategy. Over the course of twelve years, 100 works by significant international artists have been acquired for the permanent collection.
