Never Below Zero, was a group exhibition of thirty-five Greek and international artists. The exhibition took place at Snehta just before the celebration of Christmas in Greece, during the winter time that temperature never gets below zero! Well known, established artists who get inspired from the contemporary cityscape and the old urban neighbourhoods around it, presented their work in an exhibition that took the shape of a collective project. Snehta Residency became for ten days a contemporary salon. Works exhibited included paintings, collage, sculptures, constructions, micro sculptures and artistic objects. The exhibition Never Below Zero was a visual happening during which the works of established artists were available for the first time and only for a few days at a surprising price!
The exhibition supported Snehta’s main residencies programme – running since 2012 – as well as its new educational programme “SCULPTURE SCHOOL”, commencing in January 2019. Together with the exhibition, Snehta launched an original patent: A unique ink for artists! Based on a traditional recipe with pure ingredients created from Snehta’s chemist.
