Kypselian Salon – Back Home is the third annual winter exhibition by Snehta. Snehta showcases works from its depot and new art pieces from inspiring artists, in a virtual, three dimensional space to allow visitors to explore the works even at these difficult times where mobility and physical presence are limited. The digital environment developed is based on Snehta’s earliest exhibition setting; The Ag.Zonis 1 apartment in Kypseli. The virtual platform will allow visitors to explore works created by some of Athens’ most promising young artists, while they will have the opportunity to revisit the space – even digitally – and explore some of its ‘darkest recesses’ where traces of the near past will become apparent to highlight the unique environment in which artists developed new ideas and original artworks since 2012. The works exhibited will be available for the third year in a row at surprisingly low prices. The digital platform will allow visitors to refer to the online shop while experiencing the works in their virtual hosting space. Revenues from exhibition sales will go solely towards Snehta’s operation and activities happening within the community of Kypseli.
