From 2011 to 2014 Outset supports Curatorial / Knowledge in the Middle East, a new strand of Professor Irit Rogoff’s Curatorial / Knowledge PhD Programme at Goldsmith’s College. Curatorial / Knowledge is aimed at professional curators, working internationally, who are interested in carrying out advanced research. It seeks to explore the expanded theoretical remit of contemporary curatorial practice.
Curatorial / Knowledge in the Middle East is aimed at curators who are active in and around the expanded Middle East. Its main ambition is to enable candidates to become leading cultural actors within complex geo-politics. The programme supports three years of doctoral research for five curators.
