ABOUT:

Outset Estonia is committed to building international relationships, supporting Estonian contemporary art projects on the international scene as well as backing acquisitions to public institutions. Outset Estonia was founded in 2015 as a non-profit organisation by Karin Laansoo and Maarja Oviir-Neivelt, with the financial backing of a core group of founding members who committed the initial support for 3 years. Outset’s vision and impact has been groundbreaking since the organisation introduced a new philanthropic model in Estonia where the majority of contemporary art has been publicly funded.
