Outset Greece supports the activities of Radio Athènes in 2015. ‘Broadcasting from the ether somewhere in and around the centre of Athens, Greece, near the end of Petraki Street, this is Radio Athènes. Radio Athènes is a bookstore, Radio Athènes is a showroom, Radio Athènes is an exhibition space. Each of these functions appear at different speeds. Flexible, independent, nomadic, interdisciplinary, Radio Athènes works together with local and international artists and institutions to present exhibitions, lectures, screenings and readings in the fields of contemporary art, literature, philosophy, dance and the applied arts.’
Radio Athènes is a non profit institute for the advancement of contemporary visual culture founded in Athens in December 2014. It is directed by art historian Helena Papadopoulos.
