McLaren Group, Woking

Outset is engaged in a three-year advisory project for the McLaren Group, aiming to bring contemporary art to the world of Formula One.

As the first initiative of the McLaren Arts Foundation, Outset facilitated the commissioning of a sculpture by Peruvian-born artist Armando Andrade Tudela, which was unveiled in Regent's Park during the 2004 Frieze Art Fair.

In 2005, Outset established an extensive programme for the group's new corporate headquarters – the Foster + Partners-designed McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, Surrey. The centre will also be used for annual exhibitions of major works from the Arts Council Collection

Guided by Outset, McLaren Arts Foundation will provide artists with opportunities to create new work, set within a broader programme that aims to stimulate discussion and creativity amongst the McLaren Group workforce.
